Karina Linch’s son, Maxwell, had a normal-enough-looking bellybutton when he was born. But within weeks it started to stick out more and more until it was the size of a plum. And he was grunting like crazy. Turned out, Maxwell had an umbilical hernia from straining due to gas and his pediatrician thought Karina’s breast milk could be the culprit.
