Yesterday my mom brought over a journal she kept for the first couple years of my life.

The first thing that surprised me was that she referred to me as Hillary, not Hill or Hilly until about 10 months

I got my first tooth 3 months later than Sasha

I dumbfounded my mom with crying

And by a little over 2 years I had gotten surgery and a broken bone

Lots of similarities! I sometimes wonder what Sasha will think if she reads this blog one day. It is very strange to read about one’s self as a baby. I almost can’t picture myself. I imagine Sasha instead.
