The Longest Shortest Time

Kid Invention: The Coffee-Teapot!

Like any pre-schooler, Sasha brings home mountains and mountains of drawings and doodles every day. Every night I empty her backpack, uncrumple the papers that she has stuffed in there, and sort out the keepers from the, uh, recycling. I can tell I’ve found a *gem* when there’s a picture that obviously has a story behind it. One of my favorite things to do is ask her in the morning what’s happening in those pictures.

Her answer to this one? A pot that has one spout for coffee and one for tea, so you and daddy can make your drinks at the same time. Genius! (Little does she know, I like coffee, too.)
