Later, when she started nursing, her feelings toward her breasts got even more complicated.

Then came the cancer diagnosis. When her son turned 4, Jean learned she would have to say goodbye to her breasts.

P.S. Jean has made a full recovery from her surgeries and has been cancer-free for nearly 3 years. She says her longest-lasting symptom is an obsession with CrossFit because her brief glimpse at mortality made her want to be as strong as possible as long as possible.
