Sex & Parenthood Won a Silver Trophy!

You guys! We are so excited to announce that our Sex & Parenthood series won a silver trophy in the health category from the New York Festivals World’s Best Radio Programs. Joanna and I went to the awards ceremony a couple of nights ago, and were so humbled to be honored among a crowd of our international colleagues.

That photo above was probably taken around the time when I was thanking WNYC for creating an “explicit” button for our iTunes feed, so we could air the series sans bleeps.

We hope this award brings new listeners to the series, and gives more moms hope of reclaiming a healthy and happy sex life. And helps parents think through how to talk about sex with their kids.

And, of course, may teenagers around the globe continue to have complicated relationships with their robot babies.
